According to Green Fleet Magazine, vehicle manufacturer Daimler Truck recently announced it would be introducing its Rizon line of medium-duty electric trucks to the United States. With production reportedly scheduled to begin during the third quarter of 2023.
Rizon will offer three model variants of its Class 4 and Class 5 trucks: the e16M, e16L and e18L. The e16M has an estimated transportation range between 120 and 177 kilometers. Meanwhile, the e18L has an estimated range of 177 to 240 kilometers, and the e16L has an estimated driving range of 185 to 257 kilometers.
During the fourth quarter of 2023, the Rizon line will be sold and serviced by the Velocity Vehicle Group to facilities in California, Nevada, Arizona, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama and Kentucky, as well as Australia and Mexico.
